The figures are guidance, not a quote

Every cost on this site is a sourced published range. That includes the calculator's output. None of it is an offer or a quote for your floor. Real quotes come from a contractor who has seen the job. They vary with your floor's condition, your region, and the season. Do not make a money decision on our figures alone.

We are a marketing service, not a contractor

Wood Floor Report is operated by Compass Camper LLC, a licensed marketing and lead generation company. We are not a licensed contractor. We do not perform floor work. All floor refinishing and related services are performed by independent licensed contractors. We do not employ them, run their work, or warrant it. Your agreement for any work is with the contractor, not with us. Contractor license numbers are available on request.

Quote requests

Sending a quote request asks us to introduce you to one contractor. The introduction runs under the consent shown on the form and the Privacy Policy. We work to route every request. But we cannot promise a contractor is free in every area at every time.

What we are responsible for

We stand behind the sourcing of our figures. Each one traces to a named source. We correct what a source shows to be wrong. Beyond that, the site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Compass Camper LLC is not liable for decisions made on this information, or for the acts of independent contractors. Nothing here limits rights the law does not let us limit.

Using the site

You may read, link, and quote this site with attribution. Do not scrape the quote form, submit false requests, or republish whole pages as your own. The safety information here supplements, and never replaces, product labels, data sheets, and the law that applies to your work.
